Plastic debris, sediment and pesticides are polluting the water among the Venezuelan Mangroves

Venezuela is estimated to have four percent of the world’s mangroves. The Venezuelan mangroves span over 2,200 square miles, ranking as one of the largest mangrove ecoregions in South America, but that number is shrinking steadily.
